Whether you're looking for fast flow trails, technical climbs or long rides across the mountain heaths, there's something for you. Here the mountains are made for cycling adventures.

MTB in the mountains for all levels

Want to feel the adrenaline pumping? Then MTB in the mountains is for you. On Funäsdalsberget, the gondola takes you smoothly to the top, where trails such as Bergspasset and Panoraman await. Here you are offered breathtaking views, challenging turns and fast-paced descents. For children, there is a dedicated bike park at the valley station, free and open around the clock, with speed waves, curves and small ramps - perfect for taking the first steps towards bigger adventures.

Cycling with a guide

Funäsfjällen has several knowledgeable guides and tours you can book. They guide you knowledgeably around our beautiful mountains.

Electric bicycle - What applies?

On private land on our official cycle paths, you can ride an electric bike, but not on state land. If the engine power is over 250 w, it is classified as a motorized vehicle according to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's exemption for off-road driving. If the engine power is over 250 w and provides a power boost above 25 km/h, it is classified as a "motorized vehicle" and falls into the categories moped class 1-2 and light or heavy motorcycle, depending on the maximum power/speed. In addition to the landowner's permission, these vehicles also require an exemption from the prohibition in the off-road driving law to be driven on bare ground off road.

In the app Spår & Leder Funäsfjällen there is information for each trail whether it is ok with electric bikes or not.

Funäsfjällens Ledbolag

Funäsfjällens Ledbolag is responsible for the cycle paths throughout Funäsfjällen. For us, the mountains are the most beautiful thing we have. Funäsfjällens Ledbolag maintains and develops the trail system to create a long-term, sustainable local environment. The revenue from Fjällpassen goes directly back to the area - by, among other things, chipping and graveling trails and compensating affected landowners. Here you pay for fantastic trail cycling in a magnificent mountain environment and for a sustainable and prosperous mountain world for generations to come.
